For Noah...
This issue of The Peoples' Press is dedicated in loving memory of Noah Bourdon. It is also for his parents Christian and Sarah and all of the loved ones and friends of his family. Rick Suzio deserves special recognition for everything he has done to help them. Honor and friendship do not even begin to describe him.
Even if you did not know Noah, you did. Any child you see or have is Noah. Hug your children, spend every minute that you have playing, learning and experiencing the wonder of life as Christian and Sarah did with Noah. That love showed in his eyes, his happiness and mostly in the love he had for his parents.
I find it very difficult to even dedicate this issue to Noah. We are worthless compared to the life and love he shared with his parents – so you can understand my hesitation as it seems so insignificant and petty to me.
The loss of someone you love is always hard. You never, ever truly get over it. However, with the love and support of friends and the community at large – you get by.
You get by. You cherish the memories and you get by. You wake up each morning, force yourself out of bed and you get by.
There is no way anyone can understand the pain one goes through if you lose a child unless you have lost one. Please support, pray and help Christian and Sarah not just now but in the years to come. Noah is in heaven now and needs you to help them get by.
