Open House on how to become an Adoptive Parent

The Department of Children and Families-Meriden office will be hosting an Open House on how to become a foster or adoptive parent for children ages 0-18. The open house will be on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at the Wallingford Public Library from 6 to 7 pm. Paulette Limato, DCF Foster Care Licensing Social Worker will conduct a slide show presentation. Susan Herget, foster parent and coordinator for M and M Faces will be speaking about her fostering experience. Kathy DePasquale from the Adoption Resource Exchange will be presenting children in CT who need an adoptive home.
